Fantastic experience with Riste, highly recommended! As a sommelier, Riste shared expert and technical knowledge of wines - we asked him a ton of questions about the terroir, different vintages, wine making processes and he was able to answer them with great expertise. He was super friendly and personable. He customized the wine trip in advance and planned out the day in a way that was considerate of the energy level during the whole day. We got a good view of the different communes of Barolo and Barbaresco while driving there and it was absolutely beautiful. I thought he did an excellent job choosing the smaller producers that we wouldn’t normally visit on our own. He was very responsive while booking was always on time when he picked us up in the morning and after lunch. Really great day. I would send all my friends to him when they are visiting.

We can't say enough about Riste and this FANTASTIC tour of the Langhe wine region. It has been the highlight of our trip. If you don't do any other tour in Italy, definitely make this wine/vineyard tour a priority.

Riste was a fantastic host for our wine tour through Barbaresco and Barolo. Every stop felt personal. The family-run wineries welcomed us warmly, and the wines were beautiful reflections of the region. Riste knows everything about Piedmont and its wines, but more importantly, he is down to earth and easy to connect with. My wife and I felt so welcomed. If you are looking to explore the local wine region and meet the people behind it, this experience is a must.

We had such an incredible day with Riste on his private wine tour through the beautiful Piedmont region! From start to finish, everything was smooth, relaxed, and full of good vibes. He took us to two fantastic wineries, both offering amazing wines and warm hospitality. We had an absolutely incredible time on our wine tour, and it was all thanks to our amazing guide, Riste. From the moment we met, he was warm, knowledgeable, and completely passionate about wine—and it made all the difference.

We provided an outline of what we wanted to see and taste including lunches for our two days in Piedmont. Riste took it from there. He created a perfect itinerary, taking us to select wineries that were exactly what we were looking for. Each stop offered something unique, and his relationships with the winemakers gave us access to experiences we never would’ve had on our own. He leveraged his relationships to arrange lunch at two different wineries over our two days. He couldn't have done a better job. Both meals were outstanding!

What really stood out was Riste's deep knowledge—not just about the wines themselves, but about the history, the region, and the winemaking process. He did an excellent job pacing our travel between wineries. Our conversations during the travel time allowed us time to discuss the wines and absorb the unbelievable views. He even had a select location for us to take an unbelievable photo. Our two day tour concluded with his support for shipping the wines we chose back to the states.

If you're looking for a wine tour that's both enriching and incredibly enjoyable, I can’t recommend Riste highly enough. It was a highlight of our trip, and we’ll definitely be back for another tour in the future!

A very good tour guide with lots of information, enthusiasm and knowledge. He is very easy to get along with and comfortable to be around. The experience was so full of lots of interesting information and some really nice local family run vineyards and wine businesses with history and great wines to taste! Our guide was also very good with the English language and translating things for us although the vineyard guides and families also spoke English. We would definitely have this guide and these tours again. Tasting some beautiful wines and meeting great people at the vineyards. The price of the tour is good and you get a lot for the price. Excellent service and tours.
